The Whole Point
OpenAmplify is all about meaning: our mission is to surface every shred of meaning from the content that we analyze. We do this using a patented text analysis process that identifies each and every word used in the text, their parts of speech, and roles in context where they are found. OpenAmplify tries to replicate an understanding of text in exactly the same way as a human. Sounds simple - but it’s really hard to do fast, and at scale. That’s why we have invested over 300 man-years of development time and millions of dollars to get it right.

How it works
OpenAmplify's analysis is fully automatic. Once you activate OpenAmplify as a provider in your Insights platform, we will dynamically analyze all the content flowing into your selected topic profile(s). You then simply select ‘OpenAmplify’ from the ‘Insights by Provider’ menu, and the various Insights options will become visible.

The Insights Explained
We have launched with 11 separate Insights available to the user, as detailed in the table below. These range from Topic and Category analysis, to Advanced Sentiment Analysis, Advocate and Detractor identification, and even Intenders. Each Insight is created automatically on the fly by combining a range of data points from the OpenAmplify API:

Detailed Analysis
The flexibility of the Radian6's UI means that OpenAmplify's data can be brought to life in an awesome range of charts and graphs. Simply click into the different Insights themselves, explore the underlying comments... and even combine OpenAmplify data with other data providers to generate an almost endless stream of interest points.

The 'CRM Segments' Insight
The CRM Segments analysis is unique and itself comprised of 5 types: Comment, Engage, Support, Contain and Inquiry. By analyzing each of the comments in your River of News, OpenAmplify is able to classify each one in CRM workflow terms. We can tell the difference between the comments that are happy and asking for help... SUPPORT... and those comments that annoyed and tell everyone about it... CONTAIN. These classifications can be a super-useful way to vector into your River of News to gain insight. Here are examples of each type of data:

How to get started
