OpenAmplify is a web service that brings human understanding to content. It is powered by multi-patented Natural Language Processing and text analysis technology developed by its parent company, Hapax.
Hapax technology has been the focus of over 110 man-years of effort since 2000. At its heart lies a linguistic core that embodies the innovations and patents we have commercialized over the past 9 years:
- Text analysis core: Our ability to analyze any unstructured text, without training or special development, and with unmatched accuracy in identifying syntactic roles, is the cornerstone of our success. Since we begin every task with a superior understanding of the text, benefits delivered from other components in the overall solution are multiplied.
- Linguistic resources: All Natural Language Processing-oriented applications improve in proportion to the quality of their underlying linguistic resources. We constantly improve our ontologies, text classification rules and lists, and customer-specific resources to maximize accuracy and utility. A full-time linguistic staff with advanced degrees, supported by first-class academic thought leaders from major universities, upgrade our capabilities on a daily basis.
- Pre- and post-processor capabilities: Linked using a mature and comprehensive XML integration layer, our software can pre-process and post-process any linguistic output to enhance, summarize, and deliver the data in any way or combination the customer can conceive. If the customer can conceptualize a use for text, Hapax technology can realize it.
